Professional Course for HAS officers was organized at the Institute from 25th July to 21st September, 2019. The Course aimed at administering professional skills, attitude in the officers of the premier services of the state. The batch comprised 22 officers viz. 11 direct recruited officers and 11 officers promoted into HAS from the different feeder cadre services. The course was inaugurated by Sh. C.P. Verma, IAS, Director, HIPA who in his opening remarks welcomed the officers for the responsibilities and honour of fulfilling the aspiration of the people of hill state. The course was organized as per the syllabus prescribed by the Department of Personnel, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh with the innovative and participatory training techniques which aimed at learning as a result of appropriate training prescriptions. The methods used included written and audio-visual case studies, field visits, public speaking skills and management games besides lectures. In addition to this, the trainee officers were also given exposure to judicial functioning with the attachment to HP Judicial Services Training Institute. The valedictory session of the course was provided over by Sh. C.P. Verma, IAS, Director, HIPA who asked the officer to upheld the esteem of the services by coming upto the expectations to the people of the state.
