First Ever National Level TDP/DTS in HIPA:

Though we in the hills are very late in starting these TDP Courses but we are happy to tell that the year 2019 is new beginning as we have figured in the DoPT TDP Calendar with two national level TOT courses, i.e., DTS and SAT. We intend to roll out DOT and MOT from next year. Shimla being a popular tourist destination, the willingness to attend TDP Courses here is an added advantage.

The DTS Course has been attended by 20 participants (Trainers) 12 from the state and 8 from the training institutions across states, namely, UP, UK, Bihar, Delhi. Govt. 5-day Course Module was rigorous and ran in three parallel locations within HIPA campus so as to have more closer interaction between trainees and the trainer. Three renowned  Recognized Trainers (RTs) namely, Dr. R.K. Choubisa, Sh. T.P. Narayanamoorthy and Dr. V.K. Gaur were deputed by the DoPT to run the training module in the ratio of 1:7. The module as designed by Thames Valley University of U.K. for DoPT will be covered in toto and each part will be shared between the sessions.
