Training cum Sensitization Workshop Social Justice & Empowerment
A training cum Sensitization Workshop on Laws/Acts relating to Women, Children, Special Abled Persons and Other Vulnerable Sections of the Society was conducted by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment on 12-13 July (in joint collaboration of Directorate of Women and Child Development (WCD), Directorate for the Empowerment of Schedule Castes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities and Specially Abled (ESOMSA), and Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPB & OCWWB). More than 70 participants from all over the state attended the workshop. Dr. Daisy Thakur, Chairperson, State Commission for Women, H.P. addressed the participants in the inaugural session of workshop.
