Foundation Course for HAS & Allied Services Officers
The Foundation Training Course for newly appointed HAS & Allied Services Officers of 2018 batch comprising 21 Probationers including the 3 HAS, 5 HPS, 4 Tehsildars, 5 BDOs and 4 Treasury Officers started at HIPA on 14th May, 2018 for 8 weeks. During this period, the topics of training will include exposure & basic knowledge about the State, the Constitution, Public Administration at various levels in the Govt., Management, Financial Administration, Planning & Rural Development, Law, Governance and ICT Tools & Technology being used in service delivery to the citizens.
The Probationers were given practical exposure by inviting the experienced resource persons hailing from the different disciplines viz. Administration, Police,Development, Judicial Services, Innovators, Technocrats and Management. The class room sessions were coupled with field visits to Sugam – The Citizen Centric Service Centre, Shimla; Tehsil Office Shimla, various branches at the Collectorate Shimla; State Forensic Science Laboratory, Junga and the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. The Probationers were given orientation on soft skills to enable them to discharge their duties in a better way.
