Double Entry Accounting Software
With the inception of Double Entry System of Accounting in Rural Development Department, the SIRD, HIPA has organized a number of training programmes on this subject. During these training programmes, an idea was evolved to develop a software to generate all the reporting formats on the submission of vouchers. In 2009, the Double Entry Accounting Software was developed by NIC & HIPA and it was rolled out in all Development Blocks of Himachal Pradesh. In this prelude, the Institute has organized a training programme on Double Entry Accounting Software w.e.f. 14.05.2018 to 17.05.2018. The programme was attended by Senior and Junior Assistants of Development Blocks of H.P. During this training programme, the discussions were carried-out on the concept of Double Entry Accounting System, submission of vouchers using Double Entry Accounting Software, reconciliation of bank statements, preparing cash books, ledgers, trial balances and other statements like pendency statement etc. The participants also learned to install using IIS, the troubleshooting techniques, taking the back-up and restoring the same using SQL server and executing the software on LAN.
