Awareness on Electors Verification Programme
The Election Commission of India has launched an Electors Verification Programme where voters can verify their data. It allows the voter to know whether the data about him or her is correct. If not, they can correct or update wherever required. The process can also be completed online. In this regard, Institute organised an awareness session on dated 19-09-2019 for all the Officers/officials of HIPA to brief the Electors Verification Programme with online practical demonstration so that they can upload/update the documents related to electoral registration. To verify data online, the voter has to go to the www.nvsp.in website and login with the Elector Photo Identity Card number. A voter from each family will get a username and password, allowing a person to upload all documents related to electoral registration and tag similar details about his or her family members.
