Training Programme on MGNREGA
H.P. Institute of Public Administration, Fairlawns, Shimla-12 as State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) proposed to organize a series of training programmes on MGNREGA for the officers/officials including PRIs involved in execution of MGNREGA in the State during 2018-19. The objective of these training programmes emphasize to orient and equip the participants for the execution of MGNREGA through preparation of Shelf of Projects, Labour Budget and Convergence Plans according to the needs of the rural people, establish linkages with Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Rural Livelihood Options for the Rural Community of the State. One such training programme was organized by the SIRD-HP w.e.f. 09-05-2018 to 11-05-2018 in which 22 0fficers/officials including PRIs working at Block and Gram Panchayat level participated in the programme. Sh. Suneel Chandel, Deputy Director-cum-P.O., DRDA, Hamirpur, Sh. Rajesh Sharma, Executive Engineer and Sh. Naveen Kaundal, Assistant Engineer, DRDA, Shimla were prominent Guest Faculty for the programme. Sh. Rakesh Kanwar, IAS, Director, Rural Dev. Department and Sh. Gian Sagar Negi, HAS, Joint Director, Rural Development Department interacted with the participants in the feedback/valedictory session on 11-05-2018. The practical orientation and contents of the programme were appreciated by the participants.
