ToT Programme on Basics & Intermediate under Incident Response System
National Institute of Disaster Management, Ministry of Home Affairs Government of India in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration Fairlawn, Shimla organized Regional level Training of Trainers Programme on “Incident Response System”, Basics & Intermediate at HIPA, from 17th to 20th September, 2018 for the officers of Northern Region States. The programme was attended by 22 participants representing State of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. During the programme, apart from the Introduction of Incident Response System the following Module of IRS were discussed:- Module A:-Principles & Features of Incident Response System along with Team Building Exercise; Module B:-Organisation & Staffing along with Exercise of Organization & Staffing; Module C:- Incident Facilities; Module D:- Incident Resource & Resource Management; Module E:- Organizing for Incidents & Events; Module F:- Incident & Event Planning. All the participants shown keen interest and attention in all the sessions and participated actively in the group works and discussions too. During the concluding and Valedictory Session, Joint Director, HIPA took feedback from the participants regarding the training programme and boarding- lodging and other facilities provided by the Institute. Certificates were distributed to the participants jointly by Smt.Jyoti Rana, HAS Joint Director, HIPA, Professor Santosh Kumar Prof. & Head Emergency Response Division.
