Double Entry Accounting Software
With the inception of Double Entry Accounting Concept in the Block Offices, HIPA played a vital role in the training process, in the development of “DEAS” software in collaboration with NIC and implementation of software with the Department of Rural Development. In this series, the Institute has organized a training programme on “Double Entry Accounting Software” during 24th - 28th of September, 2018 at HIPA. The programme was attended by Senior Assistants and Senior Assistants (Progress) of Development Block Offices of district Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur. The entire programme was fragmented into three major parts viz. “the concept of Double Entry Accounting System “, “the operational part of Double Entry Accounting Software” and “the installation, backup and troubleshooting of the software”. The programme was appreciated by the participants and urged to give more hands on during the sessions.
